3. Legal Basis for Processing
Where applicable law requires it, we process personal information on the following bases: performance of our contract with you (delivering your order); our legitimate interests (operating, securing, and improving the service); your consent (where required, e.g. analytics cookies); and compliance with legal obligations (tax, accounting, fraud prevention).
4. Use of Commercially-Safe AI Tools
VizeeHome uses AI rendering tools as part of our production workflow. We use only "commercially safe" AI tools — tools specifically designed and licensed so that content generated with them can be used for business purposes without legal risk regarding copyright, trademarks, or third-party intellectual property. AI outputs are produced under human art direction and quality control.
Your photographs and order information are used solely to fulfill your order. They are not used to train third-party AI models, and they are not shared publicly or with other customers.
5. How We Share Information
We share information only as needed to operate the service:
- Stripe — Merchant of Record for sale of our service, payment processing, subscription management, tax compliance, and invoicing.
- Cloud hosting & storage providers — to host the website, store your photographs, and deliver renderings.
- AI rendering tool providers — to process Customer Content under our account, under commercially-safe terms (see Section 4).
- Email & support providers — to send order confirmations, delivery notifications, and respond to support.
- Analytics providers — anonymized or aggregated usage data to understand how visitors use the site.
- Professional advisers — legal, accounting, or insurance advisers, where reasonably needed.
- Authorities — where required by law, court order, or to protect rights, property, or safety.
All third-party providers are bound by appropriate data protection terms. We do not sell or rent personal information to advertisers or data brokers. A current list of our third-party processors is published at /subprocessors.
6. Data Retention
- Source photos & intake — retained for up to 90 days after delivery to support revisions, then deleted.
- Delivered renderings — available for download in your account for at least 30 days after delivery.
- Account data — retained while your account is active. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 8).
- Order & payment records — retained as required by tax and accounting law (typically 7 years).
You may request earlier deletion of source files by emailing the address in Section 11.
7. Cookies & Tracking
We use essential cookies required for the site to function (authentication, session, security). We may also use analytics cookies to understand how visitors use the site. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may affect site functionality.
